We’re Julie and Morris Heide, local farmers from Eastern Jackson County, Missouri. Our 10-acre farm is located just a few minutes from Independence, Missouri, and 30 minutes East of downtown Kansas City.
Julie’s love of growing flowers began as a child while staying with her grandmother who raised flowers on her property. Julie is also a Missouri Master Gardner through the University of Missouri Extension. Morris comes from a long line of farmers. His GGG-Grandfather Heide started farming in Iowa in 1866.

At Hidden Acres Farms, our vision is to provide opportunities for those who have never been on a farm, or experienced the beauty and joy of God’s creation, to create memories with friends and family that will last a lifetime!
